Instructions for Viewing Downloads

1. How can I view the videos downloaded on my PC/Mac?

The videos available for download are in either FLV or MP4 format. We recommend you use a viewer like VLC for either one of these formats. The VLC media player is an open-source multimedia framework and works great with either PCs or Macs. You can find the right version for your system on their website here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

2. The downloaded videos are in a ZIP package. How can I open this and extract the video file?

ZIP is a data compression and archive format. A ZIP file contains one or more files that have been compressed to reduce file size, or stored as-is. It also permits a number of compression algorithms. This compression utility assures the files remain intact after downloading them as they are securely ‘packaged’.
Either PC or Mac operating systems already come with their versions of zip utilities. You most likely won’t need any 3rd party software to download and extract the video files from the compressed ZIP packages.
If for some reason you do not have a ZIP utility already in your system, you can always find many ZIP utilities on the Internet available for download. A very popular one is WinZIP, and is available for download for either PCs and Macs. You can download this software from their site here: http://www.winzip.com/
